I’m a writer, editor, and book publicist in New York.
My criticism on film, music, literature, and style has been published by The Believer, Screen Slate, The Slowdown, and T Magazine. My fiction and poetry have been published by The Baffler, Second Factory from Ugly Duckling Presse, and some magazines that no longer exist.
My most recent piece, “An American in Itaewon,” on club culture in the military campgrounds of Seoul, was published by Dilettante Army.
I’m a Senior Publicist for Faber US. Previously, I was the Publicity Director for Wave Books, the co-Publicity Director and Sales & Distribution Coordinator for New Directions, and a Senior Publicist for Artisan Books.
I’m also a contributing editor for Hard Pack Magazine.
For New Directions, I was a consulting editor with John Keene and Robert F. Reid-Pharr on Love is a Dangerous Word: Selected Poems of Essex Hemphill (March 2025).
I’m working on a novel about figure drawing models.
